This is the Ministry of Mint Museum. You can see and learn how to make coins. It's fun. And you can buy some commermorative coins at souvenior shop. The street of Cherry blossoms in Osaka Mint is very famous and popular though this Mint in Saitama has also a walk of Cherry blossoms. There are lots of varieties of Cherry blossoms.

The museum is interesting, but the mint itself is on full display (no pictures are allowed however). If you are interested in how coins are created and viewing the actual process of creating coins, this is a highly recommended visit. Pictures are from the museum portion of the facility. Museum gift shop has a rather eclectic mix of both high end mint products (art and collector's pieces) and low end goods (branded candy like products). Would recommend checking out.

Beautiful experience, free entrance, very few people! Excellent for coin lovers. Some of the exhibits don't have English translation, so beware of that.
